One of the ex-ganja peddlers from Fateh Nagar said, `the area is under complete surveillance and many have left such illegal businesses in the locality. However, few of the peddlers continue to sell ganja as they own a vehicle which helps them deliver the drug at a different and preferably safe spot in the city. ``The buyers have the contact details and everything is planned over a phone call”, he said.

Cannabis reputedly helps unlock the creative parts of your brain. Put that theory to the test with a pot-friendly night of art at Puff, Pass and Paint. During the two-hour class, the instructor provides an example of painting and teaches participants how to re-create the artwork. Attendees are urged to follow their THC-heightened inspiration wherever it leads, says national director Tyler Joyner.
"We conclude that the provision in the ordinance that classifies the cultivation of medical marijuana as a misdemeanor is preempted by California’s extensive statutory scheme addressing crimes, defenses and immunities relating to marijuana. Among other things, the attempt to criminalize possession and cultivation is not consistent with the obligation [Health and Safety Code] section 11362.71, subdivision (e) imposes on local officials not to arrest certain persons possessing or cultivating marijuana."
