Grab your marijuana and your mat to enjoy the mind-body benefits of weed-enhanced yoga. “I call it contemplative cannabis,” says Stacey Mulvey, owner of Marijuasana, a sort of traveling yoga studio that offers classes in states where the laws allow, including Massachusetts. Practicing yoga under the influence can help advance students’ abilities, Mulvey says. She believes the drug can alter the connection between mind and body just enough to break damaging or limiting patterns of movement.
Officials have begun targeting marijuana businesses that are operating without a state license. The Bureau of Cannabis Control has recently sent out cease-and-desist orders to approximately 500 cannabis businesses located in California that have not begun the process of obtaining a state license. The letter instructs all unlicensed businesses to stop all cannabis related activity until they receive proper licensing. Failure to follow state law will result in administrative and criminal penalties along with significant fines for each violation.
And so the saga goes on and on. By now, do you ask yourself, what is wrong with this picture? The top police, court officials and the lawmen on the street in these fine lands of Fresno are busying themselves big time over Weed laws, but where are the deliverables? Are there better ways to spend your tax dollars? Or we just going around in circles?
To help them draft the ordinances, the city has set aside a budget to hire a consulting firm to “sit with professional city staff, our professional city planners and determine how many dispensaries are needed by this community, where should they go, who should the operators be, [and] how we select the operators,” said Olivier during the 12/14 City Council meeting.
Because Pot Valet collaborates with many dispensaries, it is able to offer patients the widest choice of marijuana strains and other products. Flowers, concentrates, oils, lubricants, vapors, feminine hygiene products, and even a variety of cannabis edibles, patients have access to the largest selection of marijuana available anywhere in California, all products are tested in laboratories for quality and assurance.

Cannabis delivery has never been easier thanks to Vireo Health’s New York medical marijuana delivery service. We understand that individuals prescribed medical marijuana can’t always make it to a dispensary. At the same time, cannabis-based capsules, oral solutions, vaporization cartridges, and vaporization oils can be a vital part of treating chronic pain, cancer, AIDS, epilepsy, and other serious conditions. Going without that vital medication for even a day can be painful and difficult.
Beyond just offering a good meal, these events create community, says chef and co-owner Joseph Nelson. Diners share a family-style meal at one long table and inevitably find themselves making connections, he says. “It’s a bunch of people who have never met each other before, sitting down for a couple of hours,” Nelson says. “By the end of dinner, you’d think they’d known each other for years.”
Feeling achy? Hit the massage table. At E-motion Sports Massage in Everett, clients can loosen up with a cannabis-infused ointment that many say boosts the impact of the treatment. Massage therapists use a cream infused with cannabinoids, compounds derived from the cannabis plant. They don’t cause a high, but they do have powerful anti-inflammatory and pain-killing effects, says E-motion owner Mercedes Diaz. And because the cream reduces pain, she says, therapists can work muscles more intensively — and effectively. “It is really great for muscle and joint pain, arthritis, sprains, strains,” Diaz says. “With cannabis, we can get in there and do so much more.” The ointment comes in different concentrations, so therapists can choose the right one for each patient’s needs. E-motion offers cannabis cream as a $25 upgrade to any of its regular massage services, which run $100 to $120.
Later Clovis lands were sold to a Mr. Marcus Pollasky for the expansion of the townsite. In time, some small industry developed. In 1894, a lumber mill commenced operations to feed the rapidly growing California. The town of Clovis began to take shape and soon a post office and general store opened up. By 1896, Clovis was reported to have a whopping 500 citizens.
